The Foraker Group's mission is to strengthen Alaska's nonprofit sector so organizations can fulfill their missions and serve their communities effectively.
We believe that when Alaska's nonprofits and tribal organizations are well-governed, financially sound, well-led, and properly resourced, they can do extraordinary work in communities across our state.
Founded in 1994, Foraker has grown to become the state's premier nonprofit support organization — offering professional services, education, research, advocacy, and a community of practice that connects leaders across Alaska.
